Naturalistic Body Care began with a simple belief: Everyone deserves access to body care that supports health, dignity, and well-being. Behind the brand is Alex Ciaravino, the founder of Mr. Naturalistic.
A Journey of Perseverance
Alex has been a fighter from the start. Diagnosed with autism at a young age, he spent years nonverbal and faced many challenges growing up. Through therapies, specialized diets, and medical support, he worked tirelessly to build communication skills and independence.
Over time, Alex achieved milestones many once thought impossible. He earned his high school diploma, completed two years at Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey, and obtained his driver's license. But like many individuals with special needs, finding stable employment proved difficult.
Discovering a Unique Talent
Alex has always been highly sensitive to his environment, including the ingredients found in everyday products. This sensitivity led him to explore creating body care products that avoided harsh chemicals and unnecessary additives.
What began as homemade candles soon grew into something bigger. After moving to Southwest Florida in 2020, Alex found new inspiration and opportunity. He joined the Venice Special Olympics weightlifting team and continued exploring entrepreneurship. By 2023, he had earned OSHA and supply chain certifications and began developing his own body care brand.
The Birth of Mr. Naturalistic
Naturalistic was born from Alex’s desire to create products that are simple, natural, and accessible. Today, in partnership with a Fort Myers artisan producer, Naturalistic offers a broad line of handcrafted body care products including:
- Artisan soaps
- Body butters
- Lotions
- Sprays
- Scrubs
- Scent diffusers
Each product is created with minimal ingredients and custom chemical-free scent blends.

Naturalistic Body Care products are proudly handcrafted in Southwest Florida and shared with communities across Tampa Bay, Sarasota, Venice, and Englewood markets.

A Mission Bigger Than Products
Alex’s vision extends far beyond body care. He hopes to grow Naturalistic Body Care into a business that creates meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with special needs.
His products are already appearing at markets across Tampa Bay, Englewood, and Southwest Florida, with plans to expand throughout Sarasota, Venice, Wellen Park, and beyond.
